Samantha Hache — Executive Chef
Samantha studied culinary arts at the esteemed Niagara College Canadian Food and Wine Institute. Following her studies, she worked as an artisanal bread baker in Niagara-On-The-Lake and in a variety of kitchens. Samantha has over a decade of refining her skills as a chef and operating a kitchen, and is a Red Seal Certified Chef.
I really enjoy being a part of a team and I make it my goal to achieve the best possible dining experience for our residents.
Taylor Carlson — Sous Chef
Taylor has been part of the team at Heritage River since 2011. She began her career as a server in the dining room. While working as a server, the daily interactions she had with the residents was something she looked forward to. She then began to work in the kitchen as a cook and was promoted to Sous Chef. Taylor’s passion for food drives her aspiration to become a Red Seal Chef.

Ashleigh Moores — Dining Coordinator
Ashleigh joined the Heritage River team in 2018 with a background in restaurant management. With over a decade of experience in the restaurant industry, Ashleigh returned to school to become a Personal Support Worker (PSW). She loves putting her combined skills of dining and PSW to use in enhancing our residents’ lives every day.

Enisa Nezirovic — Apprentice Chef
I’ve been working at Heritage River since late 2019. I’ve loved cooking for as long as I can remember. I went to post-secondary school for culinary arts and graduated with a two-year culinary diploma. I am eager and very excited to apply what I’ve learned and continue to gain knowledge and grow as a chef.
